Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce Hosts 2025 State of Healthcare: Understanding Managed Healthcare Plans
HARTSELLE, Ala. (October 1, 2025) – The Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce will host its annual State of Healthcare event on Tuesday, October 7, at the Sparkman Civic Center in Hartselle, offering community members and business leaders valuable insight into navigating today’s managed healthcare plans.
Doors will open at 7:00 a.m. for networking and breakfast, followed by the program from 7:30 – 9:00 a.m.
This year’s event will feature a presentation by Justin Graves with the North Central Alabama Regional Council of Governments (NARCOG), who will provide practical guidance on how to understand managed healthcare plans, what to look for when choosing coverage, and how to make confident, informed decisions. In addition, attendees will hear from representatives of Cullman Regional and Decatur Morgan Hospital, who will share local perspectives and resources from their healthcare systems.
“Our goal is to cut through the confusion of healthcare coverage and equip our community with knowledge they can immediately apply,” said Chris Spicer, Community Engagement Manager at the Hartselle Area Chamber of Commerce. “With expert insight from Justin Graves, our local hospitals, and support from our incredible sponsors, this event is designed to empower people to make better healthcare decisions.”
